(sensor_fake_api/) built to the exact shape of the real field-sensor service while
it's offline. Nothing below is real-world data; it's a deterministic simulation, ready to switch
over to the real API with a one-line change once it's live again.

Why a snapshot, not a live feed - this is a static site with no backend (see the
project's own README), so nothing published here can poll a server directly. sensor_fake_api/
generate_snapshot.py runs the same generator sensor_fake_api/app.py uses and
writes the result into docs/sensors/data/ as plain JSON - the same "static files,
regenerated by hand" pattern every other page on this site already uses. Run
sensor_fake_api/app.py yourself locally instead if you want a genuinely live,
polling version to develop against - see that folder's README.
